Paris Hilton “Creates” New Product

Paris Hilton has “created” a new line of champagne, called Rich Prosecco. And get this????? The champagne comes in a can! You heard me right…look below.
Why didn’t someone think of that before? I know when I want to enjoy a fine champagne, the first thing I think of is cracking open a can! I am sure people will be serving this at their weddings in no time.

Here is how the manufacturer (European) describes it:
RICH® PASSION
Flavoured winecontaining cocktail with passion
fruit taste – mellow, sparkling.
Alcohol content Passion: 6.5 % +/- 0.3 % VOL
RICH® ROYAL
Flavoured winecontaining cocktail with strawberry
and cassis friut taste – mellow, sparkling.
Alcohol content Royal: 6.5 % +/- 0.3 % VOL
It seems to me it is like flavored sparkling wine. You can’t use the name “Champagne” unless the grapes are grown in a particular region of France. In California, everyone says “sparkling wine” instead of champagne if the grapes are grown locally.

Somebody did think of it before. Sofia Coppola had a small line of Blanc de Blanc sparkling wine called Mini over a year ago.
