Syesha Mercado Says Goodbye To American Idol

In a sad turn of events, Syesha Mercado was sent home last night from American Idol. The good news is that she will do well in the entertainment industry. She is pretty and talented, and I am sure she will end up recording or working on Broadway someday soon.
At this point, it is David vs. David!! I am rooting for David Cook because David Archuletta will make it whether or not he wins American Idol. His father may be a total pain in the ass, but he has directed David’s career on a one-way path to stardom.
Simon Cowell told Blender.com in a new interview that he thinks David Cook should win this year’s competition.
“I think he’s done more to deserve it over the eleven weeks,” Cowell says. “He’s taken more risks, he’s done things with certain songs that have been more interesting. If I’m gonna base it on who has done the best performances over the live shows, David Cook deserves to win.”
