How Brad And Angie Came Up With Their Kids’ Names
July 16th, 2008
Okay…it actually makes sense now.
As you know, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie had twins…a boy and a girl. The boy was named Knox Leon, and the girl, Vivienne Marcheline.
Here is how they came up with those names:
Vivienne is the French version of the ancient Latin name that means “alive.” Marcheline was the name of Jolie’s mother, who died of cancer last year.
Knox — Pitt’s grandfather’s middle name — also “matches” big brothers Maddox and Pax as a name that ends in X. Leon is Jolie’s great-great grandfather’s name.
So there you go. It all makes sense, doesn’t it? Now if we can only figure out what Suir is supposed to mean!?!
