Good news for all you Gossip Girl fans! The ratings are way up this season, which means more people are watching and telling their friends to watch. And why not?? It is a great show.

Taylor Momsen rocked her new look on the set of Gossip Girl last week. Do you like her heavy makeup and hair that way?

Do you like Joe Jonas? If so (and who doesn’t?), check out this short but informative interview he recently gave to Popstar:
Joe Jonas recently had an interview where he talked about commenting on one of his songs on iTunes.
Do ever go on fan boards or message boards? ‘I’ll be honest, I have commented on , like iTunes, when ‘S.O.S.’ first came out. I am actually one of the first comments just because, you know, it’s like your song, you want people to comment and you want to have good reviews. So if you look at it, it’s like ‘Mrs. Joe Jonas’ or something, and I’m like, ‘This song’s incredible!’ It’s so funny!”
Do you sing in the shower, snore or talk in your sleep? ‘I sing in the shower a lot. I don’t snore.. I mean, I don’t know because I’m asleep, but I’ve been told I don’t snore. I talk in my sleep too.’
What cologne do you wear? ‘Prada.’
At least the guy is honest. If I had a record out I would probably have all my friends leave positive feedback too. He sure seems like a nice guy.
I did ready today where a young lady who works in an LA mall spotted Joe holding hands with Taylor Swift while they were shopping. No photo was taken, so no evidence, but this is not the first time I have heard this story. True or not?

Kevin, 20, Joe, 19, and Nick, 16, just blogged about dating. Here’s what the JoBros revealed:
Would you ever date a fan? OR Have you ever dated someone who is not famous? The answer is YES. We have already dated fans or girls that are not celebrities. In fact, we really like to believe that the girl we will spend our lives with will be our biggest “fan.”
Are you dating OR have you dated BLANK (fill in the name)? It is our rule to not talk about our personal lives, especially who we are dating. The same would be true if we were dating you.
So yes all you fangirls out there, you all still have your chance! BTW, Nick celebrates his sweet 16 today. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, NICK!!!!!

There was a good bit of casting news released today, and I thought I would share it with you….my faithful readers:
• Luke Perry just scored a new TV gig, but not in the right ZIP code for 90210 fans. The erstwhile Dylan McKay is booked for ripped-(off)-from-the-headlines CBS’ Criminal Minds as a cult leader. Things go bad when the feds botch a raid. See the Lukemeister brood it up on Oct. 8.
• XXX marks the spot again for Vin Diesel. After leaving the heroics to Ice Cube for XXX: State of the Union, Diesel is in talks to reteam with director Rob Cohen for the tentatively titled XXX: The Return of Xander Cage, per Variety. With his Babylon A.D. bombing at the box office, Diesel appears to be adding some surer things to his to-do list as news of his XXX sequel comes on the heels of his return for the fourth Fast and the Furious and two new Riddick flicks.
• Mr. Big is working the boards. Chris Noth has signed on for the lead role in Farragut North, based on the behind-the-scenes action of the 2004 primary campaign of Howard Dean. Noth will play a tough-talking, veteran political operative tasked with managing the insurgent candidate. Previews begin Oct. 22 at the Atlantic Theater Company and the curtain officially goes up Nov. 12.

As I told you a few weeks ago, Amy Poehler is leaving Saturday Night Live. after the elections to have her baby and get ready for her new show - a spinoff from the producers of The Office.
It was only a matter of time before she left because she has so much talent and offers must be rolling in. I will miss her, especially on The Weekend Update portion of the show.

Amy Winehouse was supposed to meet her friends and family at London’s Jazz After Dark club on Saturday night for her birthday party, but she never showed. Three cabs were sent to get her, but no one was successful.
Why wouldn’t Amy go to her own party? Apparently, Amy was standing in front of a mirror and took a good look at herself and realized she was too fugly to leave the house. She is just realizing this now??
Yes, the constant drug use has taken a terrible toll on Amy, and she just can’t hide it anymore. What happened at her party? Everyone else showed up and seemed to have a good time.

Mark Ronson showed up, as did British singing star Adele.

Even Amy’s parents showed up! I suggest they forget the parties and get her back to rehab as soon as possible.

Now this is a list I like! I hate when new movies come out now and compare themselves to the box office takes of movies in the past. Now, we pay $10 to see a film. Then…it could be anywhere from five cents to a quarter. This problem has been resolved by the good folks at Box Office Mojo. They have created a new list adjusting for inflation. Can you guess who will win now???
Check out the list after the jump to see which movie is actually the biggest box office winner of all time.

No one asked Lindsay Lohan about her political views, but that did not stop her from commenting on V.P. candidate, Sarah Palin on her Myspace page. Here are some of her quotes:
“I really cannot bite my tongue anymore when it comes to Sarah Palin.”
“Is it a sin to be gay? Should it be a sin to be straight? Or to use birth control? Or to have sex before marriage? Or even to have a child out of wedlock?”
“Is our country so divided that the Republicans’ best hope is a narrow-minded, media-obsessed homophobe?”
“I would much prefer to hear more about what she can do for our country rather than how her daughter is going to have a child no matter what.”
I wonder what prompted Lindsay to post this knowing it would be sent out via the media? Whether I agree with Lindsay or not, I really don’t like this trend of celebrities speaking out on their political views. However, if Nancy Reagan came out against Sarah Palin, I would like to hear what she’d have to say.

Everyone was expecting Sarah Palin to get spoofed this weekend on Saturday Night Live, and Tina Fey and Amy Poehler did not disappoint.
Tina Fey did a great impression of Sarah Palin, and while Amy does an adequate Hillary Clinton, her dialog was really funny. I could totally picture Hillary saying the same things….in private.
If you did not see the show, check out the video here.
